What We Do
The Centre provides information on respite options, coordinates access to respite and other support services for carers in need of a break from their caring role.
Our experienced Centre staff can assist carers with organising respite at home, in a community setting or booking respite in an aged care facility.
We also provide a 24 hour on call service for carers who have a crisis or emergency outside the normal office hours and need someone to take over the caring role for a short period of time.
The staff at the Centre are committed to providing a high quality service to carers contacting us for respite information or support options. We work closely and in collaboration with a broad range of services within the region to ensure the best possible service outcomes for carers and the people they care for.
